APOLLO PLATE
For serving sweets or for use as a teapot holder.
As tradition requires, Saint-Louis plates are mouth-blown. The master glassmaker must first collect molten crystal from the furnace, insert it into a mold containing the shape of a flattened sphere and mouth-blow it. This crystal shape, once cooled, is cut in half, keeping only the bottom part, which will form the plate. In the final step, it will be cut in the cold workshop.
